Scars
Throughout life our body, our mind and also our sensitive being are subject to stimuli, limits, frustrations, disenchantments, pain and joy as well. Great openings of horizons and impregnable walls. We are beings that live in communities. We would not be what we are without this framework that contains us lovingly and at the same time has us trapped. But this network is not the same for everyone and neither is the toolbox with which each one counts to take life forward. This box treasures those traces, marks and scars that make us who we are. They are the elements that allow us to adapt or reveal ourselves, they give us the strength to resist, to transform ourselves and to return that energy to the community. To the extent that we can recognize them as part of our being, even if they are not beautiful, we will be closer to loving ourselves.
